Position Summary

The Department of Neurology has a opening for motivated, dependable, bilingual (Spanish-English) research assistant to perform cognitive testing, data collection and administrative duties for a National Institutes of Health funded study investigating bilingualism in people with and without epilepsy, ages 16 through 85.  


Responsibilities

  • Recruiting research participants, administering and scoring neuropsychological tests in both English and Spanish, data entry, and database management.


Minimum Qualifications

  •  Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
  • A time commitment of full-time for two years is necessary for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, good organizational abilities and excellent attention to detail. Undergraduate major in psychology or neuroscience. Prior experience with psychological or neuropsychological testing, psychology/cognitive research, and database management.
