The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Admissions Operations, and as an integral member of the Admissions and Financial Aid Team (AFA), the Associate Director of Admissions Operations works as part of a team responsible for the design, maintenance and support of the Admission CRM, Technolutions Slate and plays a key role with respect to systems, technology, and data management for the Office of Admissions.
This role serves as subject matter expert in all things Slate Technolutions, managing queries and reports, automation, data management, portal building, database maintenance, and form building. This individual will work closely with the Senior Director to manage and process the CRM system's infrastructure so that prospective and enrolled students are processed in automated ways for efficiency.
In addition to working with the Senior Director, the Associate Director will independently keep up to date the information systems, admitted student website and admissions and financial aid part of the SIPA website.

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Admissions Operations and in collaboration with other members of the admissions staff, the incumbent will execute, maintain, and enhance existing SIPA Admissions processes within the Admissions CRM (Slate by Technolutions), and recommend and implement new features, business practices, and procedures.
- Serve as a systems administrator for the Admissions Office enrollment management systems, responsible for investigating, configuring, deploying, managing, and maintaining available systems, functions, and features, optimizing use for the Admissions Office.
- Complete Daily Duplicate Detection and resolution of any duplicates created by the systems, Slate, or SIS.
- With the assistance of the Senior Director of Operations, build and maintain custom online portals for use by admissions staff, prospective students, and applicants.
- Responsible for data management, reporting, and technology processes for the Office of Admissions, with emphasis on developing and utilizing system imports, creating and updating queries and reports, and auditing data to ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Monitor in excess of 3,000 applications annually. The Slate application system manages the lifecycle of an application throughout the admissions process.
- Additional daily tasks include managing email campaigns and delivering a high volume of messages to contacts within the CRM.
- Develop, enhance, and execute annual retention policies as directed by the Senior Director of Operations
- Manage Slate-related reporting and data requests, providing statistical analysis and summaries of enrollment data, working closely with the Senior Director of Operations.
- Work with the Senior Director of Operations on Technolutions Slate system development and maintenance.
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the SIPA mission, vision, and values and adhering to institutional policies.
- Maintain a high regard for student privacy in accordance with the FERPA privacy policies and procedures.
- Develop and render official admissions reports and provide ad-hoc data to the admissions team, and leadership.
- Participate in virtual, hybrid, and on-campus events such as Open Houses, Admitted Students Day, New Student Orientation, and other admissions or student affairs-related events.
- Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and three years of directly related experience.
- Proficiency in, or experience with, client relationship management systems (CRM), preferably Technolutions Slate.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct business with a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality.
- Ability to be sensitive to and respond to the needs/concerns of students, faculty, college staff, and the public.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of complex databases, with experience in higher education databases.
- Previous admissions, marketing, project management, or analytical experience.
