The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University has an immediate opening for a talented and self-motivated Software Engineer who can succeed in a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing pipelines to extract and process clinical data in real time between relational databases containing health records and applications that use the FHIR and SMART standards (both backend and provider facing applications).
Director, Accreditation, QISP P&S Vice Dean For Education Medical Center
Reporting to the Vice Dean for Education, and in close consultation with the school’s academic and administrative (Dean and Vice Deans) leadership, the Director is responsible for coordinating the School’s ongoing accreditation by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and accreditation-related quality improvement activities. This includes directing the School’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) program, which involves the participation of numerous academic and administrative units, to gauge and improve institutional compliance with LCME standards, and managing the preparations for the visit of an ad hoc LCME survey team every eight years. The Director will supervise the work of the Program Coordinator for Special Programs Including Student Run Clinics.
Clinical Coordinator III-NP/PA Surgery Medical Center
The Clinical Coordinator III - NP/PA will function in the outpatient setting of the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program in collaboration with the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant multidisciplinary team to care for and manage post-transplant kidney and pancreas recipients, post-operative kidney living donors, and patients who underwent surgical or invasive procedures by the Kidney/Pancreas transplant surgeons.
