The Senior Associate Director, of Academic and Student Affairs will provide support in managing the academic and student affairs functions of the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) Department, including Academic and student affairs management, support strategic direction to the team in consultation with the other Director of Academics, Director of Finance and Operations, and Department Chair). This role will assist with Faculty Related Matters (i.e., faculty search, faculty promotions and awards, course evaluations, and new instructor onboarding this role will also provide support in managing Graduate admissions and organizing special events (i.e., lead yield activities and open house events, etc.). |

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance for the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP), the Business Officer will work closely with the administrative unit of the Institute to maintain, implement, and optimize standard business processes in accordance with University policies. The incumbent serves as the primary expense approver for the Institute's centers, projects, seed grants, workshops, research, personnel, operational, and gift accounts. The Business Officer will be responsible for day-to-day approvals, including Accounts Payable vouchers, Procurement requisitions, journals, and Purchasing Cards in Accounting and Reporting at Columbia (ARC), the University's system of financial records. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for entering payroll transactions into People@Columbia (PAC), the University’s Human Resources system. |

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Grants Manager-Post Award is responsible for providing comprehensive post-award grants management for Principal Investigators (PIs) in the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP). The Grants Manager-Post Award ensures compliance with University, government and private funding agency policies, resolves financial problems, prevents overdrafts, manages reconciliation of accounts, reviews financial reports, oversees grant deposits and monitors domestic and foreign funding. |

Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Director of Operations is responsible for the integrity of all physical spaces occupied by the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). The Associate Director manages the day-to-day operations of GSAPP’s facilities including but not limited to planning, organizing and directing the maintenance, repair and alteration of GSAPP buildings and grounds; maintaining visual displays and appearance of GSAPP common / public spaces; serving as GSAPP’s representative on University Morningside Space Coordinating Committee; ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines; preparing and managing maintenance and construction project budgets; ensuring optimal utilization of GSAPP spaces and related resources as well as setting policy for building usage; and serves as the contact person for approximately 750 students and 300 full and part-time faculties on space related issues. |

The Incumbent leads and develops public programming, communications, and visiting scholars programs of the Institute.
The incumbent acts as principal faculty liaison responsible for the organization, management, and planning of all faculty-related matters, including visiting faculty and scholars. |
