The Director of Career Placement provides management and leadership to the career placement and employer relations functions of the IEOR Department, including the branding and placing of the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) M.S. students in full-time positions and internships. The Director will manage the entire Career Management Team, with its primary goal of placing its graduate population, including MS and PhD. The goal is to obtain as high of a placement rate (100%) as possible for the Departmental programs. This role will broaden and deepen relationships with employers, alumni, and industry partners to improve placement outcomes; the Director also needs to establish relationships with employers and industry partners to foster collaboration between faculty members and graduate students (both MS and Ph.D.). |
