Tutors that are hired will learn the importance of being a good leader and being responsible for being prepared to tutor students.

This is a  non-benefited, part-time position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

  • The tutor will be meeting with students who request a tutor for various subject. 
  • The meeting session will be scheduled as one on one meeting. 
  • The meeting days and times are flexible and to be determined by the tutor and the student. 
  • Tutor must adhere to all academic integrity guidelines of the university and the athletic department.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • The candidate for this position would be an individual who has a desire to tutor students. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • We are looking for candidates who have been successful (received A's or B's) but not limited in the following areas; business, math, finance, accounting, psychology, physics, computer science, biology, chemistry etc.

Working Environment

  • Work environment is flexible, but must be in a common area such as Community Commons or the library.
  • Stress level is low to moderate
  • Noise level is low

Work Schedule

This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. Hours will vary depending on tutoring needs.

Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $20.00- $25.00
