Tutors that are hired will learn the importance of being a good leader and being responsible for being prepared to tutor students.
This is a non-benefited, part-time position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
- The tutor will be meeting with students who request a tutor for various subject.
- The meeting session will be scheduled as one on one meeting.
- The meeting days and times are flexible and to be determined by the tutor and the student.
- Tutor must adhere to all academic integrity guidelines of the university and the athletic department.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- The candidate for this position would be an individual who has a desire to tutor students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- We are looking for candidates who have been successful (received A's or B's) but not limited in the following areas; business, math, finance, accounting, psychology, physics, computer science, biology, chemistry etc.
Working Environment
- Work environment is flexible, but must be in a common area such as Community Commons or the library.
- Stress level is low to moderate
- Noise level is low
Work Schedule
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. Hours will vary depending on tutoring needs.

Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $20.00- $25.00

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
