About the role
In this role, the Senior Registrations, Licensing, and Business Support Officer provides high-level, comprehensive business support and continuous improvement services within the Community Safety & Regulation unit. The focus is on managing registrations, licenses, and permits efficiently and effectively, with a strong emphasis on customer service and strict adherence to corporate procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide efficient and effective business support services to the unit.
- Perform basic research projects and provide project support including drafting of correspondence.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of statistical data for the work unit.
- Assist with the maintenance of customer service mediums such as website, on-line transactions, social media etc.
- Develop and maintain databases.
- Assist in the establishment, development and maintenance of work plans, systems and procedures used within the work unit.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration role with a customer service focus.
Essential Experience:
- Ability to lead by example to create a positive and cooperative team environment.
- Ability to use a personal computer including advanced level of competency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software.
- Demonstrated high level of organisational skills.
- Ability to work without supervision in a team environment.
