About the role
In this role, you will support the operation, monitoring, and performance of the organisation’s network infrastructure and building technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Resolving network-related incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk.
• Assisting with network monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and supporting telephony and video conferencing systems.
• Monitoring network activity and responding to security-related incidents reported by the security team.
• Supporting project delivery activities, including basic business analysis tasks such as requirements gathering, documentation, and coordinating changes to network services.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have an extensive knowledge of network operations with excellent customer service skills.

Essential Experience:

• Experience with supporting and provisioning router, switches in a similar role.
• Existing knowledge of client/server networking architecture concepts and principles.
• Strong working knowledge of Internet technology(s) concepts and principles.
• Developed analytical and investigative skills and operate effectively in difficult and pressured situations.
• A tertiary qualification in relevant specialist field(s) and or demonstrated experience in supporting ICT networks environment in a comparable organisation.
