About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join our personal training program based at our indoor Leisure centres. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality programs to existing and potential members, ensuring their independent needs are being met that incorporate a variety of strength, flexibility and mobility exercises.
Work type: Casual
Classification: Personal Trainer Level 1 $51.48 p/h (inc casual loading)
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver one-on-one and small group personal training sessions, ensuring effective fitness programs and high-quality customer service.
- Foster a positive culture amongst patrons and ensure the health, safety and well-being of clients is monitored and maintained.
- Work closely with the Programs/ Gym Coordinator and clients in prescribing gym programs that are appropriate the participant’s goals.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in planning and delivering one-on-one or group based training exercise programs, and developing individualised programs. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of clients and stakeholders.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum Certificate 4 in fitness or equivalent.
- Working with Children’s Check.
- Current Level 2 First Aid qualification.
- Current CPR qualification.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
