Summer is coming! With the weather heating up, we’ll be opening our outdoor pools and expanding services across our indoor centres for the summer season. We’re on the lookout for casual, qualified lifeguards to join our team this summer and help us provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for the Greater Geelong community.
Work type: Casual
Classification: Band 2A Commencing at $43.05 per hour
What you’ll do
- Actively supervise and educate patrons to ensure safety across our pools
- Respond quickly and confidently with first aid, emergency care, and water rescues
- Create a positive and enjoyable experience for all pool users
- Conduct regular safety checks of pools, spas, and saunas
- Ensure facilities are used appropriately by members and casual patrons
- Complete essential reports, including first aid and hazard records
- Be available for additional shifts on hot days (over 28°C)

Bellarine Aquatic & Sports Centre, Norlane ARC, Leisurelink, Splashdown, Kardinia Aquatic Centre, Lara Aquatic Centre and North Bellarine Aquatic Centre.
