Position Overview:

As an in-room dining server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless fine dining experience for our guests. Possess excellent interaction and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding service and go beyond and above by driving guest experience.

JOB SCOPE

 

  • Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders to guests' rooms, ensuring that all items are presented in an appealing and organized manner by standard.
  • Set up and maintain in-room dining stations, ensuring that they are clean, well-stocked, and properly organized.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders, adhering to quality standards.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to assist guests if needed.
  • Upsell and promote additional food and beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Previous experience as a server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external guests.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately take and deliver orders.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on scheduling.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, preparation methods.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other relevant technology used in in-room dining operations.
  • A commitment to upholding health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Possess a well-groomed, professional appearance.
