Flight Centre Travel Group are looking for a Reconciliation Officer to join our Corporate Reconciliations Team.  Reporting to the Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, this role looks after the financial health of our business through accurate and timely reconciliations, while also providing insight to our Operational and Financial leaders through various internal reporting.

 


A Day in the Life...

  • Preparing accurate and timely Reconciliations such as Bank, Credit Card, or other Sub-ledger accounts.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, including operations and other finance teams, in resolving unreconciled items.
  • Preparing weekly reports to provide insight to management using a variety of reporting tools to ensure strong financial control and minimise risk.
  • Preparing month-end reconciliations and reporting to the accountants and other key stakeholders.
  • Helping front end operational staff and internal finance team with related queries.
  • Assisting the accountants or other finance teams with ad hoc finance tasks.

 

 

How we can count on you!

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or similar Reconciliation’s role.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Proven teamwork skills and a commitment to personal learning.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure.
