The Sr. Manager of Operations for Mid Back-Office (MBO) Operations will lead the MBO team in delivering efficient, scalable, and high-quality support services across various regions. This role requires a strategic leader to manage complex operations, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment. The Sr. Manager will centralize regional MBO processes, ensure consistency, and enhance operational stability while aligning with the company’s global objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & People Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the MBO operations team, focusing on meeting objectives and staff development.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
    • Establish and review performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
    • Drive team performance to achieve consistent profit growth.
    • Conduct regular Day Planners and Weekly Business Meetings.
  2. Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily MBO operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
    • Manage the centralization of MBO processes across regions, ensuring consistency in service delivery.
    • Collaborate with finance, IT, and customer service teams to streamline operations.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Process Improvement & Automation:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Lead the implementation of process changes with minimal disruption.
    • Work with the IT team to leverage technology for process optimization.
  4. Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact for regional and global stakeholders regarding MBO operations.
    • Manage expectations and deliver on service commitments through effective communication.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align operational goals with business objectives.
  5. Project Management:

    • Lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing MBO operations, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
    • Coordinate with project teams to meet deliverables and maintain operational excellence.
    • Manage budgets and resources for MBO operations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  6. Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate risks in MBO operations, implementing controls for business continuity.
    • Develop contingency plans to address operational disruptions and ensure quick recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in operations management, focusing on back-office operations in a global context.
  • Proven experience leading large teams with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.
  • Strong understanding of mid back-office functions including finance, compliance, and customer service.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and process automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
