About You

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for significant revenue retention, identification of growth opportunities, commercial negotiation and delivering a winning strategy for FCM’s largest corporate customers. Using the Service Level Agreement, you will drive common service delivery to the client and ensure consistent interpretation and administration of travel policy, including negotiated supplier deals, and business plans to execute client goals. You will be a strong team member and work effectively with the sales team to assist with new business while playing an active role in winning new accounts.

Experience: 

  • 3-5 Years Account Management Experience
  • 2 Years Multi National Customer Experience
  • Demonstrated strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated superior negotiation skills
  • Highly developed analytical and presentational skills
  • Ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to customers
  • Highly tuned interpersonal skills
  • Experience looking after accounts with a minimum spend of R300m

Education and qualification: 

  • At least 3 years management experience
  • A proven track record
  • Intermediate / Senior consultant
  • Domestic, Regional and International land and air booking experience
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally & external

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • To service, retain and grow the portfolio; ensuring optimum levels of service are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that clients receive quotes, invoices and documentation within the minimum expected time period.
  • Ensure that all client statements, invoices and queries are sent out as per minimum expectations.
  • Adhere to One Best Way finance process and procedures
  • Efficiently balance the need to meet deadlines and work speedily under time pressures while maintaining high standards of service
  • Service orientated, drive brand initiatives for greater customer engagement and retention

Leadership:

  • Lead by example in all aspects on the business
  • Run effective weekly business meetings to monitor team and individual progress
  • Monthly one-on-ones to ensure individual progress
  • Identify opportunities for development and assist TMs with development plans
  • Set and drive team goals and objectives
  • Drive and meet agreed team, area and brand targets
  • Ensure team attends client functions, training, buzz nights, focus days and conferences.

Ensure all One Best Way processes are followed, ie. Finance, operations etc
