We are looking for a proactive Finance Executive to join our team in Noida. In this role, you will act as the process owner, creating a strong partnership between operations and management for the Business Unit (BU). You will manage the month-end closing activities and take responsibility for the control, processing, and consolidation of Transactional Finance, Accounting, and Reconciliation. This position requires regular interaction with the Senior Finance/Operations Team and collaboration with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep dive analysis to support financial reporting and operations.
- Collaborate closely with team members in NCR and offshore teams.
- Engage in regular communication with Senior Finance and Operations teams onshore.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to identify and resolve specific business issues.
- Identify opportunities to add value to the BU's operations, drive efficiencies, and improve output quality.
- Ensure the integrity of the Business Unit’s monthly results and track performance against accounting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including processing, uploading, and submitting invoices.
- Update internal and external systems with financial data.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in AP/AR activities and reconciliations.
- Assist in validating and processing journals to achieve timely month-end closes.
- Produce regular monthly reports on Business Unit financial performance.
- Train and coach team members to enhance overall work quality and output levels.
Requirements and Skills:
- Graduate/Postgraduate/CA (Inter) in Commerce or Professional Finance Qualification.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company or captive unit, focusing on R2R, month-end closing, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a larger team.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
- Trustworthy and straightforward demeanor.
- Independent problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy under tight deadlines.
