About The Opportunity
Flight Centre Travel Group Americas is a dynamic and fast-growing region within the group; we are seeking a
Director of Commercial Finance for our Americas Independent Travel Division. This role will partner with the
Operational Leaders of the Americas region and the brand Global CFO (based in Australia) to drive the strategic
growth and commercial development of each country. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a go-getter Financial
Analyst with experience in B2B business growth looking for the next step in their career or an experienced FP&A
leader looking use their skills to 10x grow the Envoyage brand across the USA and Canada.
Role title: Director Commercial Finance Envoyage Americas
Reports to: Global CFO Envoyage (Australia Based)
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy Support:
• Partnering with the brand leaders of Envoyage Canada and USA to support their strategic
growth objectives
• Pricing strategy: develop and evaluate pricing strategies to ensure profitably and market
competitiveness
• Profitability analysis: Assess the profitability of products, services and business sales channels,
identifying opportunities for improvement
• Prepare presentations of financial performance and strategic foci
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Budgeting: develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with the brands strategic
goals
• Forecasting; Provide financial forecast and track performance against targets
• Variance analysis: Analyze financial results, comparing actual performance with forecast and
budgets and providing insights on variances
- Financial Reporting:
• Management Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to all levels of the brands
support team, including key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics and business
trends.
• Board Reporting: Provide financial summaries and input to the brand regional level board
reports.
- Cost controls:
• Financial ownership of operating expenses such as advertising, promotional & marketing
activities
• Partnering with management to ensure appropriate & optimal resource allocation decisions
are made, and expenses remain within budget
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• MBA highly sought-after
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance roles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel Skills plus PowerBI
• Extensive experience in commercial financial planning and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, be well organized, have a proven history of success
• Proven ability to set goals and execute plans to achieve those goals
• Ability to tell a story through presentation of financial results
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter (highly proactive)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork & problem-solving skills
• Highest levels of integrity, work ethic and professionalism
• Experience working in a multinational company desirable
• Experience in the travel industry desirable

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $110,000-$130,000. The base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
