About the Opportunity:

The purpose of the Retail Property Designer is to design shop fit out for new and refurbishment works. This onsite role is a 12-month fixed term position based out of our Flight Centre Travel Group Head Office in South Bank, QLD.

 

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:

  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders for package delivery
  • Management and delivery of all documentation packages for each retail brand to facilitate construction
  • Detailed documentation of all elements of construction required by onsite builders to build each site location
  • Documentation of all aspects of retail brand designs to facilitate the drafting required to complete new, relocation, refresh and refurbishment projects

Packages to include, but not limited to:

  • Finishes plan
  • Floor/ joinery plans
  • Reflected ceiling plan
  • Shopfront elevations
  • Electrical / data plan
  • Joinery & Signage details
  • Working knowledge of BCA & Australian standards

 

Experience: (Minimum level of experience required for the role)

  • Drafting experience in Retail design
  • Working Knowledge of AutoCAD systems - REVIT
  • Current knowledge of retail fit out processes and detailing of construction items (Desirable)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the design and specification of retail shops on a national level
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the design and specification of commercial floor space. (Desirable)
  • Minimum Cert 4 in either Interior Design or relevant building industry qualifications with a strong retail focus Ability to interpret tenancy guidelines and council regulations as it impacts stores fit out
  • Salary on offer $85-90k Plus Super (based on experience)
