
Global Merchandising - Package Publisher
Purpose:
Bringing our Rewards Store to life, the Merchandiser role will work closely with our Head of Travel Loyalty, procurement and suppliers to publish air, hotels, packages, cruise and tours for members in the newly formed FCTG Loyalty program. Manage the overall integrity of the Holiday Package dataset. Have a heavy data focus, providing reporting and insight to the business (both locally and globally) on package performance and opportunity. Collaborate with product, marketing, BI stakeholders on continuous improvement. To be a Subject Matter Expert in the Travelbox system and facilitate innovative ways to take product to market. Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:
- Responsible for defining and executing the product strategy
- Identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape to develop a product that meets the needs of the target market and differentiates the product from competitors
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and sales to develop and launch the product
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Product to create a go-to market plan and identify the best channels to reach the target customers
- Track key metrics aligned to the overall business objectives, such as revenue, customer acquisition and retention, and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for product enhancements and update
Experience:
- Product or marketing background
- Previous experience in an SME role (contracting, content management, curation)
- Commercial Experience (demonstrated business acumen and numeric reasoning, ability to build business cases)
