About The Opportunity

Travelwise is the FCTG travel team dedicated to offering our people travel benefits.

This is an exciting new role that requires a dynamic individual with a passion for creating amazing travel experiences for our FCTG people.

The role will also include making air travel arrangements for AET

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage booking enquires via enquiry platform
  • Assist in making professional and accurate business travel arrangements for AET, including assistance with post booking requirements such as voluntary changes and refunds, schedule change and irregular operations handling.
  • Ticketing and exchanging tickets in Sabre GDS for Travelwise customers and AET
  • Managing GDS air bookings via queue management in several pccs
  • Promote and market Travelwise staff benefits
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Suppliers
  • Provide solutions to travel related problems clients may experience
  • Billing/invoicing for travel arrangements
  • Compare booking options/platforms and determine the best way to book in order to optimize funds.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Professional and Service orientated mentality
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong Geography and international destination knowledge.
  •  Must have the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Candidates should possess decisive and successful problem-solving skills
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • D365 knowledge
  • Product knowledge - Strong Air knowledge is essential, understanding of fare construction and fare rules
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Min 1 year travel consultant experience
  • Positive attitude
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment but can also produce quality work independently.
  • Tech Savvy – Min 3 years’ experience in Sabre, confident using Microsoft suite, and comfortable learning new software
  • Ticketing and Operational experience an advantage
  • Must be able to lead when Team Leader is not available
  • Willing to step in for Team Leader on occasions when Team Leader is not available
  • Able to work outside of normal operating hours during emergency situations  
  • Good time management; being flexible and adaptable
  • Keen desire to learn new things
  • Comfortability / ability to embrace change
  • Strong understanding of airline policies

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $55,000.
