About the Opportunity

The Peopleworks Executive plays a critical role in our business and alongside the Peopleworks Leader provide Business Partners and employees expert knowledge and advice. They are responsible to handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties at its core are payroll management, visa processing and business licenses. The role is to act as the liaison between HR and employees in Discova ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. The Peopleworks Executive also supports our daily related activities and assists in coordinating policies, processes and relevant documents.

You will be responsible for:  

  • Receive documentation in a professional and confidential manner and filing in correct system and place.
  • Compilation of reports for local government and tax authorities as directed by Peopleworks Leader.
  • To liaise with other departments regarding matters arisin like: Office Security, building services, parking, office supplies etc.
  • Manage stationary for the office and following the purchasing guidelines.
  • Visa and Working permit administration and arrangement for foreign staff.
  • Assist leaders with onboarding activities including collection of official personal documentation of new staff.
  • Filings of key HR documents e.g. probation, certificate, warnings, resignation, etc...
  • Arrange health insurance for eligible employees (Issuance and termination)
  • Assist Peopleworks Leader in developing and planning new programs/benefits or other projects that may impact staff cost.
  • Support with internal and external events aligned with our values and building a culture of excellence.
  • All other tasks as directed from Peopleworks Leader that are aligned to overall goals of Discova and Peopleworks Department.

About you

The Essentials:

  • Must speak and read English along with local language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive and proven track record in People & Culture, Admin Teams.
  • Exposure and understanding of Local Labor laws and how they are reflected in local customs and policies.
  • Experienced working in a multinational setting, travel and/or hospitality industry is highly an advantage.
  • Demonstrated partnership with management levels from diverse backgrounds in influencing and coaching.

  • Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks and able to work outside office hours when required.
  • Solution focused and great at problem solving.
  • Able to work independently and within a team assisting team members to help everyone achieve results.
  • Flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings and flexible with uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
  • Personally aligned with Discova’s company purpose and values.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage.
