We're looking for an experienced and innovative Cruise Product Manager to join our Global Cruise Team as International Product Manager/Liaison
In this key role, you'll act as the bridge between our Australia and UK operations, driving the development and alignment of cruise products and strategies across both markets. You'll bring strong strategic thinking, product design expertise, and a collaborative approach to ensure our offerings align with business goals and the Ignite way.
A day in the life:
- Product Strategy & Development – Develop premium cruise holiday packages focused on the UK market, conduct market and competitor research to identify gaps and drive innovation.
- Create complete cruise itineraries with integrated land, rail, hotel, and experience components and ensure products align with margin targets, timelines, brand standards, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the Australian Product team to maximise global opportunities and contracts.
- Supplier Management & Contracting - Manage global relationships with cruise lines, DMCs, tour operators, and hotel partners.
- Negotiate exclusive pricing, inventory, and added-value deals to enhance competitiveness and ensure supplier content, pricing, and updates are accurate and timely for UK product delivery.
- Commercial Execution & Performance - Advise the UK team on effective go-to-market strategies aligned with the Ignite brand.
- Analyse sales and performance data to adjust pricing, inclusions, and optimise results. Collaborate with finance to evaluate product margins, ROI, and campaign performance.
- Support the rollout of global pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
- Operational Excellence - Oversee accurate and timely product setup in internal tools (e.g., Trello, EDM trackers). Ensure completeness and accuracy of all product components across systems and channels.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, aftersales) to ensure seamless launches.
- Identify and apply global best practices to drive operational efficiency in the UK market.
- Customer Focus - Keep customer experience, value, and quality central to all product development efforts.
- Leverage customer feedback and booking behaviour to enhance future products and uphold high standards of quality control across all customer-facing elements
Who you are:
- 3+ years’ experience in travel industry with cruise product management experience essential.
- Deep understanding of the cruise product management process including product to market strategy, customer expectations, and supplier dynamics
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance margin, customer value, and speed to market
- Highly organised, systems-savvy, and detail-oriented with a natural curiosity for improving process and outcomes
- Excellent communicator who thrives on cross-functional collaboration across both the Australian and UK markets.
