As an Area Leader within the Flight Centre Collection network, your role is pivotal in steering your team towards success. You'll be entrusted with implementing the strategic vision of our iconic brand, ensuring operational excellence every step of the way. Leading a dedicated group of team members, you'll inspire them to meet and surpass sales targets, expand the brand's presence, and enhance profitability. A key aspect of your role involves crafting exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every interaction is memorable. You will collaborate closely with the Nation Leader and the SWOT Team to maintain alignment and drive toward ambitious long-term growth objectives.

Day to day you'll...

• Equip consultants with targeted customer databases and communication skills to enhance retention.
• Implement systems to track customer interactions and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular coaching calls to empower staff and address escalated complaints.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders to identify growth opportunities and engage high-value customers.
• Communicate brand strategy and engage teams in future vision to foster employee retention.
• Coach leaders on change management and set clear goals and leadership expectations.
• Establish a strong community and culture through remote engagement and project involvement.
• Manage flexible annual leave structures and develop leaders during business hibernation.
• Oversee strategic site management and actively participate in major deployments for change initiatives.

We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

• 8-10 years’ experience in travel
• Min 5 years’ experience in leading a high performing area
• Proven track record in achieving targets
• Coaching and development experience advantageous
