We are currently seeking experienced travel industry experts looking for either a full or part-time after hours role.
 
Forming part of the corporate division of Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), FCM is the business travel partner of choice for large national, multinational, and global corporations. We are an award-winning global corporate travel management company, ranking as one of the top five by size around the world.
 
The FCM After Hours Consultant’s role is to answer and resolve inbound customer enquiry, via phone and email, from existing FCM customers and their travel partners, requiring new bookings/booking amendments/emergency travel assistance outside of business hours.
 
 
What you will be doing:
  • Assist clients with travel enquiries outside of business hours
  • Quote and issue new airfare tickets, calculate and reissue air tickets for changes
  • Amend or update bookings on all required land products, both in-GDS and non-GDS channels
  • Adhere to prescribed customer travel policy, FCTG policies and Corporate After Hours processes at all times
 
Hours: 
  • This role operates over a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Main hours of operation are 4:00pm - 10:00am, Monday - Friday + full 24-hour periods
  • Saturday/Sunday: standard commencement shifts are 4:00pm - midnight, weekdays + alternate weekends
  • Hybrid/work from home options available

 

Remuneration:
 
Salary: OTE $70,000 - $85,000 plus super p.a. (pro rated for part time)
Base: $70,000 + plus up to $15,000 in additional rates for shift work
Additional allowances: Optional overtime on offer monthly, so you can earn more!
 

What you will need:

  • Minimum 2 year's experience in retail/corporate travel
  • Sabre GDS system experience is ESSENTIAL (Amadeus an added advantage)
  • Ability to interpret fare rules, change fees, additional collections
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness and work autonomously
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster based on a 24/7 business
  • Experience in Lumina, Genesys and Salesforce Agent Workspace is highly desirable
