Your opportunity...

We are on the hunt for a passionate QA Engineer to join a well-established team in our Barcelona office! The QA Engineer  to learn about the products and the way of working, to switch later to one of the new streams in our dynamic and fast-growing Barcelona office to assist in the build of quality software products.

 

 

Your mission...

• Working in a cross functional team, you will implement your very own test strategy: you build and create a sense of quality inside the team, while creating tests at various levels that will complement the Product Owners’ user stories. Not limited to that context, you will take part in a higher level one creating and improving the current General Quality Strategy.
• Performing functional, automation, and API testing -among others- for a wide range of product and 3rd party applications.
• Managing the end-users’ feedback (issue tickets) in terms of reproducibility, qualification of impact – together with Product - and follow up.
• Handling interactions with Developers, Product Team and other stakeholders to explain and resolve issues.

 

 

Our ideal candidate...

• Earlier experience as QA in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and defect management systems.
• You have knowledge to create functional automation tests using any Object-oriented language-based framework, including e2e and API tests. We use Playwright and Postman.
• Able to create SQL queries that can parse and confirm business rules/calculations across tables to ensure the maximum possible data coverage.
• Strong experience in Web and cross browser testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Understanding of non-functional testing.
• Excellent Analytical and communication skills are essential, with good verbal and writing English skills. (Spanish, French and other languages are welcome).
• Questioning the status quo, not only in what and how to test but also in building quality at all levels.
