Reconciliations Specialist
This is an onsite position- 5 days in office.

About The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you love the challenge of solving complex reconciliation puzzles and ensuring financial accuracy? Join our vibrant team at Flight Centre Travel Group as a CCF Reconciliations Specialist!
As a key member of our Corporate Central Finance team in The Americas, you'll be at the heart of our operations, contributing to the financial health of our Corporate brands across the USA and Canada. Your role will involve managing credit card, customer, vendor, bank, and commission reconciliations, as well as other exciting reconciliation projects. You'll be the go-to person for financial queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions that keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy
- Multi-task and prioritize within tight deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Quickly learn and adapt to new internal accounting systems, processes, and procedures
- Advise operations and central finance team members of discrepancies for quick resolution
- Track the status of all bank reconciliations and communicate updates with the team
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and FCTG minimum standards for financial systems and processes
- Take on other duties as assigned, embracing the dynamic nature of our work
Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in accounting (post-secondary education is desirable)
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or other applicable finance related work
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (financial) and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong initiative to resolve issues and pursue opportunities as they are identified
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and a pressured work environment
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $60,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
