Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hotel sourcing process for multiple FCM Consulting global clients, ensuring hotel submissions are complete, and rates are reviewed and negotiated based on established criteria.
  • Prepare and manage Cvent/Lanyon for online RFPs, handle online negotiations, and audit final rates (Phase 2).
  • Collaborate with global FCMC Hotel Sourcing team members in Australia, the UK, Canada, and the USA.
  • Follow documented hotel sourcing processes (Phase 1 initially, followed by Phase 2).

 

Skill Set:

  • Basic understanding of travel procurement, particularly in hotel rate sourcing, pricing models, and contracts for corporate clients.
  • Knowledge of Cvent/Lanyon business transient hotel sourcing is advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to liaise with hotels for property information and rate negotiations.
  • Capability to manage multiple Excel worksheets with raw data.
  • Basic understanding of hotel chain groups and pricing.
  • Awareness of geography and local market currencies.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
