Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hotel sourcing process for multiple FCM Consulting global clients, ensuring hotel submissions are complete, and rates are reviewed and negotiated based on established criteria.
- Prepare and manage Cvent/Lanyon for online RFPs, handle online negotiations, and audit final rates (Phase 2).
- Collaborate with global FCMC Hotel Sourcing team members in Australia, the UK, Canada, and the USA.
- Follow documented hotel sourcing processes (Phase 1 initially, followed by Phase 2).
Skill Set:
- Basic understanding of travel procurement, particularly in hotel rate sourcing, pricing models, and contracts for corporate clients.
- Knowledge of Cvent/Lanyon business transient hotel sourcing is advantageous.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to liaise with hotels for property information and rate negotiations.
- Capability to manage multiple Excel worksheets with raw data.
- Basic understanding of hotel chain groups and pricing.
- Awareness of geography and local market currencies.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
