As the UX/UI Designer, you'll contribute to the design of customer-friendly, engaging, and functional digital experiences that seamlessly bridge the gap between our online and physical retail entities, creating features and products that holistically balance the needs of our customers and the business. You'll play a key role in understanding user needs, shaping design solutions, and validating decisions through research and testing. This includes designing and refining user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and UI components while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and consistent experience across our digital ecosystem.
If you'd like to contribute to the definition and development of detailed customer experience designs from project inception, through to build and launch, we encourage you to apply! Assist with the creation of UX deliverables including scenario mapping, user journeys and workflows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Day to day:
- User-centred design and design thinking methodologies and techniques
- Focus on customer needs and objectives
- Conducting heuristic reviews of existing workflows and documenting recommendations for improvements.
- Plan and conduct UX research to seek insights into customer behaviour and needs
- Validate design decisions and concepts with data and user testing
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, prototypes and UI designs
- Liaise and present work to get buy-in on project initiatives with internal stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet both customer, consultant, and business requirements
- Work with product managers, product owners and engineers to gather and evaluates requirements
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure consistent customer experience across range of products
- Champion Experience Design with organisational stakeholders
- Work independently as well as in cross-functional teams within Product Management and Engineering (PM&E)
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
- 2+ years experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, XD or similar
- Strong skills in foundational UX/UI design
- Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
- Thorough understanding of digital technologies and trends
- Experience using and contributing to a design system
