We are looking for a Partnership Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Canadian marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing Canada. In this role, you will lead the partnership marketing strategy and drive the cooperative growth with key suppliers, tourism authorities and complimentary partners for Flight Centre Canada. As the Partnerships lead for Flight Centre Canada, you are accountable for defining and delivering on the overarching partnership marketing strategy while liasing with the Global Partnership lead to link key outcomes aligned with marketing calendars and campaigns, managing internal co-operative opportunities and delivering year on year incremental growth in both financial metrics and strength of partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner proposals to key suppliers, tourism boards, and partners securing coop and partner campaign planning
- Soliciting partners in support of Flight Centre national brand campaigns with exclusive offers, buy-in
- Defining and articulating a clear strategy based on business and customer objectives
- Build systems including but not limited to calendars, post campaign reports and processes to maximize efficiency
- Oversee the Partnership campaign calendar along with the national marketing calendar and finding synergies in both in collaboration with the Director of Marketing
- Be the Flight Centre Canada lead for ongoing partner meetings and communications
- Representative for Flight Centre Canada for all global partnerships, ensuring the Canada execution of required functions to align with business direction and exceeding of agreed metrics appropriate to Canadian market
- Liase with Learning & Development, Store Leaders and Travel Experts to ensure consultant communication, learning plans, training and engagement are fulfilled as part of our partner commitments to ensure campaign success
- Support Supplier In-store events as part of Partner commitments liasing with Store Leaders, Supply & Marketing team
- Lead a small team with a direct report: coaching, mentoring and guiding as required
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ year experience in general marketing, account management, communications, or related discipline
- 5+ years defining, delivering and operating in a complex retail service delivery environment with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in a team environment driving strategy and formulating key reports and presentations for management
- Experience in handling contract and project outcomes with senior external and internal parties
- Experience with financial modelling to drive a successful ROI
- Demonstrated expertise in contracting, partnership liaison, relationship building
- Experience managing, coaching and mentoring team members
- Strong willingness and ability to work collaboratively with global and local teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Digital marketing and media experience
- Deep knowledge of tourism and the key players in the travel industry

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $90,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
