Project Development, Tax and Internal Control Manager position at Discova.
About the Opportunity
The Project, Tax and Internal Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of the ERP system, coordinating tax activities, and ensuring robust internal controls. This role will support the Next Gen Project Development for Finance, manage tax audits, tax planning, and advisory, and lead the implementation of new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ERP project, including data migration, process setup, and SOP creation.
- Lead BAU testing, ensuring smooth system implementation and integration.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to drive successful execution.
- Provide training and ongoing support to teams for effective system adoption.
- Coordinate and manage tax activities, including audits, planning, compliance, and advisory – as aligned with group requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as needed.
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.
About you:
The Essentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5years’ experience in finance, with a focus on ERP project management, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Experience working in a Big 4 firms or similar professional setting.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Fluent in written and verbal Vietnamese and English languages.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
