About the Opportunity
As the Merchandising Content Coordinator, your role is to showcase Flight Centre brand's personality and tone of voice. You will achieve this by writing copy to merchandise our key flight, holiday, accommodation, cruise and tour products for Flight Centre brand countries, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and the Americas.
You will be perfect for this role if you have at least one or more years experience in a content-based role, know how to write fun, snappy and appealing content that sells travel products (price, position, value, aligning to the right customer) and you are interested in developing website advertising skills.
What you will be doing:
- Write product merchandising copy for advertising and campaigns
- Come up with creative ideas for product campaign messaging, and content
- Work with the design team to pull imagery that sells the amazing travel products for our customer segments
- Load the products into a website CMS and ensure the products are correctly displaying on the Flight Centre websites
- Work with the wider Flight Centre marketing teams to ensure the products are well-presented and received by customers
What you will need:
- Minimum 12 months experience in a content-based role
- Experience in travel copywriting for print advertisements and/or radio
- Experience and understanding of website CMS programs
- Retail and/or wholesale travel sales experience desirable
- Marketing degree/relevant industry qualifications
