1. Role Purpose

The Senior Manager – Finance Operations will lead the end-to-end Finance Operations delivery for the Global Capability Centre. This role ensures governance, cost accuracy, reconciliations, compliance, transformation outcomes, and transparent financial reporting across supported markets. The role is critical to maintaining operational continuity following the regional transition of the Finance Director and will anchor the India Finance Transformation agenda for FY26. #LI-JM1#FCMIN#LI-Onsite


2. Key Responsibilities

A. Finance Operations Leadership

  • Oversee daily Finance Operations including activities and service delivery as part of transaction finance, reconciliations, month-end close, accounting accuracy, and inter-company processes.
  • Ensure ongoing financial control, governance maturity, and audit readiness across all supported markets.
  • Maintain financial discipline in alignment with GCC governance standards.

B. P&L & ROI Governance

  • Act as custodian of the GCC P&L — ensuring cost transparency, accuracy, and integrity of reporting.
  • Drive ROI visibility through structured savings reporting, dashboarding, and SteerCo updates.
  • Support charge-out governance and cost allocation accuracy for all supported markets.

C. India Finance Transformation – FY26

  • Lead execution of the India Finance Transformation plan delivering savings
  • Partner closely with the Regional Finance Director to validate savings, ensure compliance, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure all transformation benefits are documented, auditable, and delivered within timelines.

D. Efficiency, Optimization & Automation

  • Partner with Digital and Operate pillars to execute automation opportunities across Finance functions.
  • Identify productivity improvements, process simplification, and governance enhancements.
  • Facilitate business case development for Finance efficiency initiatives.

E. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance Directors, market controllers, and GCC leadership across regions.
  • Ensure transparent communication and readiness for audits, reviews, and SteerCo governance cycles.
  • Manage expectations and deliverables for markets that fund the role under the charge-out model.

3. Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Functional

  • 10–15 years of experience in Finance Operations, Controllership, Shared Services, or FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, accounting principles, month-end processes, and inter-company settlements.
  • Proven experience in transformation, automation, or productivity improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in financial reporting and P&L ownership.

Leadership & Governance

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams within a shared service or multi-market/global setup.
  • Experience driving governance frameworks, financial controls, and audit compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and influence across markets.

  • High ownership, transparency, and accountability.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a transformation-first approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global structure.

4. Qualifications

  • CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional finance qualification preferred.
  • Experience in Global Capability Centres, Shared Services, or Professional Services organizations is an advantage.
