POSITION PURPOSE

The Guide Training & Operations Intern supports the Guide Experience Team in creating and publishing simple, engaging training content for tour guides. The role includes helping push out new courses, following up with guides, and supporting efforts to increase course uptake and completion rates. The intern also assists with basic reporting, learner communication, and improving training materials.

In this role you will learn about key Training & Operations functions including administration and data and understand how those metrics are applied to business operations. You will learn about Learning & Development and understand how learners interact with systems and apply learned skills.

1. L&D Content Development:

  • Help prepare and organize content, slides, learning materials for online learning modules.
  • Support the upload of lessons into our e-learning platforms.

2. Training Admin:

  • Check course completion rates and learner feedback.
  • Validate details with users and ensure profiles are fully complete with relevant information.
  • Support new user onboarding

3. Self-Developmetn:

  • Join training sessions and learn new tools used by the L&D team.
  • Keep up to date with Discova destinations and guide operations.
  • Actively ask questions, practice new skills, and seek growth opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University student or fresh graduate (Education, English, Tourism, Multimedia, Instructional Design, or related field)
  • Good English communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Interest in learning design, tourism, or training support
  • Willingness to learn new tools and processes
