The Financial Controller will lead the AU finance function and work with the Leadership Teams of our Independent divisions in Australia. Reporting to the Global CFO, this role will operate at both strategic and operational levels, supporting the deployment and execution of business strategies while ensuring robust financial control, continuous process improvement, and effective change management. The Financial Controller will enhance business processes and controls, drive top and bottom-line growth initiatives, and lead the finance team proactively.

 

 

 

Your Opportunity:

• Support the Envoyage AU, Link and LTC GM’s and wider leadership teams.
• Manage and lead the AU Finance Team.
• Be a hands on leader with a passion for developing and evolving your team's capability.
• Lead and oversee financial operations and adherence to IFRS accounting standards, company policies and FCTG minimum standards.
• Take ownership of the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet for the region/division.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide proactive recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting and operational efficiency.
• Review and sign-off the balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve our control environment and ensure any risks to the balance sheet are understood and minimised within the business.
• Lead the engagement with our audit partners on the biannually statutory audits.
• Lead cash flow forecasting

 

 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

• 3+ Years' experience in a similar role 

• CA/CPA Qualified (or equivalent)

• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic & complex business
environment.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with
change, growth and pressure.
• High attention to detail.
