About the Opportunity

As a Strategic Meetings Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of high-impact meetings and conferences for a dedicated client portfolio. You’ll balance strategy, creativity, budgets, and timelines while partnering with stakeholders and vendors to deliver seamless, memorable experiences. We are looking for a proactive, client-focused multitasker with consulting or customer service experience and a passion for the Meetings & Events industry.

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of meetings and events of all sizes within a Strategic Meetings Management Program
  • Source, contract, and negotiate venues and suppliers to deliver the best outcomes for clients
  • Own event budgets from creation through reconciliation, while identifying opportunities to maximise value
  • Build and manage registration websites, timelines, and project systems to keep everything running smoothly
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams—clear, confident, and customer-focused
  • Ensure seamless execution across logistics, data management, and on-site requirements
  • Identify risks early and proactively implement smart solutions
  • Build strong, long-term client and supplier relationships that drive repeat business
  • Support business growth through pitches, proposals, and new opportunities
  • Share your expertise by mentoring team members and participating in ongoing training

Who We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in project or meeting management
  • A relationship builder who connects authentically with demonstrated effective customer service skills
  • A well-connected negotiator across all major suppliers and relevant MICE products/destinations
  • Well-travelled with strong market and product knowledge
  • Self motivated, independent, highly-organised and hungry to grow
  • TMC experience? Great! (But if not, no worries — we can teach that!)
