We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst (Temporary) to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing and analyzing the financial performance of the country. This role is critical in driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support business leaders in making informed decisions. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling and analysis to provide actionable insights that contribute to both long-term and short-term business strategies. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance financial performance and productivity.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Country Financial Reporting
▪ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
▪ Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
▪ Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
▪ Forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and financial stability.
2. Tax and Audit Management
▪ Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
▪ Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
▪ Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records.
▪ As the business partner to lead, co-ordinates, monitor and participating in various finance projects in the business
3. Product Cost Analysis and Gross Margin Improvement
▪ Analyze product costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
▪ Monitor and report on gross margin performance.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for margin improvement.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
•Proven experience in financial analysis, tax management, and audit coordination.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
SKILL AND ATTRIBUTES
•Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
•Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
•Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
