About The Opportunity

As National Sales Director, you’ll lead and scale Envoyage Canada’s national sales engine in a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment. This is a senior leadership role with real influence—driving agent and agency growth, market share, TTV, and profitability. You’ll be the face of Envoyage in Canada, building partnerships and shaping strategy as part of the Canada Envoyage Leadership Team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the national Business Development Manager (BDM) team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Drive national sales strategy to grow agents, agencies, market share, TTV, and profitability
  • Own recruitment and onboarding of new independent travel agents and agencies into the Envoyage Canada network
  • Build and execute structured prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and convert new members
  • Develop and manage agent and agency retention programs to ensure early engagement and sustained growth
  • Track, manage, and hold the team accountable to weekly and monthly KPIs and business plan targets
  • Run national sales meetings, planning days, quarterly attainment plans, and training workshops
  • Be the external ambassador for Envoyage Canada at industry events and networking forums
  • Identify partnership and acquisition opportunities and present recommendations to leadership
  • Work cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, product, account management, and support teams
  • Ensure CRM (Salesforce) data accuracy and integrity across the team
  • Provide competitor intelligence and lead competitive strategy initiatives
  • Contribute to national leadership goals and the broader Envoyage Canada strategy

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance for self and team
  • Extensive knowledge of the travel industry, including FCTG retail and corporate businesses
  • Experience leading B2B and B2C sales processes
  • Strong commercial acumen with KPI‑driven accountability
  • Advanced people leadership, coaching, and development capability
  • Degree qualification (preferred)
  • French/English bilingualism (asset, particularly for Quebec market)
  • Ability to travel domestically within Canada as required

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $150,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
