Flight Centre – BSP Creditor and Helpdesk Support Consultant (6 months contract)
📍 Location: Flight Centre Head Office, Johannesburg, South Africa
Role Highlights
Play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity within the Flight Centre business by ensuring accurate reconciliation of airline ticketing transactions through the IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP). This role combines financial accuracy, problem-solving, and stakeholder support, contributing to compliant, efficient, and reliable airline settlement and helpdesk operations.
Ideal Candidate
· 2–3 years’ experience in BSP reconciliation, airline ticketing finance, or travel operations accounting
· Proven experience working with BSP Link, ADM/ACM processing, and airline refund management
· Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
· Confident communicator with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder queries
· Deadline‑driven, highly organised, and able to work calmly under pressure
· Team player with a service‑oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
Qualifications
· Higher education qualification (minimum requirement)
· Diploma in Travel or Accounting (advantageous)
· IATA BSP Accreditation (advantageous)
· Strong working knowledge of Amadeus and travel back‑office systems (e.g. Protas)
· Solid understanding of IATA regulations, airline fare structures, and compliance requirements
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
