The Program Manager will join our Corporate Project Management Office team, and will oversee the execution of multiple, concurrent projects and reporting, and support customer and change planning as needed, for both local and global projects and programs delivering these new capabilities.

Day to day:

  • Be fully accountable for the planning, delivery and execution of projects. These will be achieved on time, on budget and within agreed scope in line with the Project Management Office framework.
  • Effective coordination of resources - both onshore and around the world - and time to achieve deliverables within a timely manner
  • Effective management of risks, issues and dependencies
  • Consult and negotiate with diverse stakeholders at all levels by managing their expectations, viewpoints, and interests regarding the scope, complexity, and sensitivity of projects to deadlines
  • Be a coach for the Project Management Office frameworks
  • Guide others on how to effectively deliver initiatives
  • Provide guidance and leadership to unblock project work, including managing resourcing, budget, quality, scope and timelines
  • Demonstrate strong familiarity with program/project management tools and Agile delivery
  • Effectively document and manage detailed project risks and issues and escalate/communicate these to relevant leaders as required
  • Consider, recommend, and drive the change management approaches suitable to the change impact, size and nature of the project
  • Contribute to the Project Management practice through continuous improvement initiatives

 

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in project or program management
  • Prior experience in a matrixed global role is mandatory
  • Hands on experience of program/project management processes, systems, standards and procedures
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using project scheduling/planning tools like MS Project/Planner/Smartsheet/Wrike
  • General industry knowledge (SDLC, ITIL, Agile)
  • Aptitude for solving problems and thinking outside the box
  • Experience in managing programs of work end to end, from definition to operational and customer rollout.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to be able to coordinate teams in other time zones as needed

 

Extra travel points if you have...

  • Relevant industry certification (PgMP, Prince2, PMP, PMI-ACP)
  • Experience using Smartsheet or an equivalent PPM tool, or a Smartsheet certification
  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Travel industry experience
