About the opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join FCM as a Senior Regional Account Manager in Mexico City.

This position will be the main strategic contact for the client, maintaining an excellent long-term commercial relationship, seeking the client's profitability in the corporate travel business and increasing FCM's sales at LATAM level.

The successful candidate will maintain the regional client portfolio in optimal conditions while identifying areas of improvement to increase client profitability through the implementation of FCM products and services.  To collaborate and work as a team with all areas of FCM at a global level to achieve business objectives. Accounts under your supervision will be at the "A, AA, AAA and Top Accounts" level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the KPI's for RAM.
  • Key regional point of contact between FCM and CLIENT
  • Coordinate the support of other FCM resources, including but not limited to different functions such as Online and Offline service delivery teams, technology solutions, information services and business consulting, to maximize the client's return on investment.
  • Maintain constant coordination and communication with global and local account managers to align with business plan, travel goals and objectives and performance tracking for each client.
  • Identify the CLIENT's business travel goals and objectives for the region.
  • Regular coordination and communication with all local sectors in the region.
  • Monitor and report on costs, service performance, customer satisfaction, trends, and savings opportunities for the region.
  • Service level monitoring and regional scorecard sharing.
  • Follow-up with local sectors on service performance or issues, leading the development of action plans to address areas requiring improvement.
  • Perform benchmarking among accounts to identify best practices to generate recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct regional quarterly review meetings
    • Travel Spending Analysis: Identify air/hotel savings opportunities
    • Evaluate service class and other performance metrics in relation to travel program compliance objectives
    • Business Plan Discussion and follow-up
  • Provide strategic support based on an ongoing assessment of CLIENT travel data and an informed understanding of our business objectives.
  • Introduce new and updated products and services that will enhance the CLIENT’s program and further reduce our operating costs.
  • Suggest Business Intelligence reports that best suit the CLIENT's requirements.
  • Provide orientation materials to travelers (electronic welcome kits and/or webinars) to introduce them to the CLIENT's travel program, travel policy and cost savings initiatives.
  • Data hierarchy process to align and consolidate local/regional/global data, ensure that information is shared with a reporting analyst in order to pursue data consistency
  • Monitor SLA compliance.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and incidents and generate an action plan with the areas involved to improve the quality of service for internal and external customers.
  • Perform account mapping (CFO, Admin, Sales, Purchasing, HR, etc.)
  • Present Account Reviews highlighting areas of opportunity for the company and FCM.
  • Generation of information for clients.
  • Position all FCM technology tools, OBT's, Hub, SAM, FCM Secure.
  • Keep customer information updated in LightHouse, Contract, Client Handbook, Agreements, etc.
  • 100% of activities recorded in LightHouse.
  • Renegotiation of economic conditions with customers in their contracts.
  • Renewal of supplier agreements with the client.
  • Keep customer (Global, Local), supplier and FCM LATAM communication channels in top condition.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Tourism or Similar
  • 5+ years’ experience in account management
  • 5+ years’ experience in the travel industry is preferred
