Accounting Assistants

Discova is on the lookout for an motivated Accounting Assistant superstar to join our expert finance team in Hanoi!

About the Opportunity

As part of the Discova finance team, the accounting assistant is responsible for maintaining the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions. You have a strong desire for accuracy and high attention to detail, and find success in completeness of supporting documents for the transactions before processing.

You will be in charge of following up the Worldpay, Paypal payment gate and WEX account of the company to make sure that all transactions are in order, recorded and reconciled. This role will support all the teams in the Discova Group to process the funds from customers and to suppliers via online payments.

Your main responsibilities are:  

• Check and receive transaction reports pertaining to clients and specifically to those of Grasshopper Adventures bookings
• Keep track of outstanding balances
• Check and process refunds as requested by Reservations team

About you

The Essentials:

• Minimum qualification of a diploma in finance
• Can be a young, recent graduate straight from university
• Fluent (both written and verbal) in both national language and English
• Intermediate Excel skills

• Comfortable with a flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings, and able to remain calm under pressure
