🧠 About the Role

As a BI Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and developing Business Intelligence reports using Power BI, working across databases and tabular data models. You'll transform business requirements into reusable data models and deliver insightful, flexible dashboards that support informed decision-making across our global business.

This role will suit a dynamic self-starter who thrives in an agile environment and is excited by solving complex data challenges.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain Power BI dashboards aligned with business needs.

  • Design data models that are performant, reusable and scalable.

  • Support ad-hoc reporting and ensure timely, accurate performance analyses.

  • Assist in the development of SQL stored procedures and views; work directly with Delta Lake, Hive, and Databricks.

  • Collaborate closely with IT, data engineers, internal stakeholders and external consultants on BI solution delivery.

  • Document processes and provide ongoing support for BI platforms and reporting tools.

🧩 What You'll Need to Succeed

✅ Technical Skills

  • Proven recent experience using Power BI, including tabular model development.

  • Solid experience with SQL, including advanced querying and stored procedure development.

  • Understanding of modern data warehousing/lakehouse architectures.

  • Familiarity with the Azure data stack: Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hubs, SSMS, Python, and Spark SQL.

  • Strong data analysis and visualisation skills.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in a relevant field (desirable)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Power BI Developer or Data Modeler (desirable)

  • Experience in pricing analysis or within the travel industry would be a bonus
