The Role

SRG Global are looking for Electrical Supervisors for Shutdowns in the Pilbara and Port Headland region on our Five Year FMG Contract.  

Superannuation paid on all hours

12 to 13-hour days

Permanent for high performers and after 6 months tenure

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of substantial electrical maintenance team including electricians, apprentices, and trades assistants
• Liaise with the Site Manager as required throughout the day, to review shutdown workload and making sure keeping on track with schedule.
• Scoping of potential works during estimation phase to advise on correct manning and equipment levels.
• Coordination and distribution of workload to personnel in an efficient manner.
• Monitor QAQC and that all electrical works are completed to high standard and are in line with site standards and AS_NZS 3000_2018
• 80% time spent in field supervising 3 to 4 electrical teams across Iron Ore OPF
• Monitor the equipment to ensure compliance of tooling and test equipment
• Ensure compliance with all specific legislative and site requirements
• To give the highest level of service possible to all of our clients.
• Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site at all times.
• To carry out all other reasonable requests in line with the terms of employment.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience as electrical Supervisor
• Previous shutdown electrical supervisor experience
• Trade Certificate - Electrotechnology
• WA Electrical Licence
• Previous experience in estimating work scopes through to execution
• Safety Awareness Training Card (white card)
• Section 44/26 Training 
• Pass a pre-employment medical
• Hold a current driver’s licence
• Strong computer systems skills and knowledge
