ADVANCED NDT TECHNICIAN - WA

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role as an Advanced NDT Technician will involve close engagement with a mix of internal and external stakeholders. This exciting opportunity, working with a variety of important clients, has arisen through growth and unprecedented demand for our services. If you’re seeking a fast paced, quickly evolving role, this is the role for you. This position will be Managed out of our Canning Vale HQ, located in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing conventional and advanced NDT across a variety of sectors.
  • Working independently or as part of a larger crew, you may be tasked with supporting small, adhoc assignments, shutdowns, major projects or maintenance campaigns.
  • Liaising with clients to determine expectations and subsequently, providing clear, concise, relevant and considered findings as appropriate.
  • Always working in a quality focused and safe manner.
  • Providing assistance (non-NDT) to engineering and metallurgy staff when necessary.

  • Eagerness to grow and contribute to SRG’s success is imperative.
  • Must be willing to work across all sectors including Oil & Gas, Defence, Power, and Mining. 
  • Should be willing to work interstate, overseas, FIFO/DIDO from Perth.

The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have:

  • ISO9712 Certification – Any of MT/PT/UT/RT/ET - Necessary
  • Experience and competence in any of PAUT, LRUT, Shell Crawler, Tube Testing and MFL task execution
  • Analysing Data and Preparing Reports
  • Rope access experience or a desire to be trained is preferable though not essential.
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Must be WA based or willing to relocate
