The Role

We are seeking a proactive individual to work closely with the Operations Manager and with site personnel to ensure the project is run in a manner that meets the client’s expectation and SRG Global’s high standard of project delivery. The individual will provide leadership to site personnel and will ensure that work is completed safely and efficiently.

This position is full-time permanent on a 8 days on and 6 days off roster for day shift only. Accommodation is supplied in West Wyalong whilst on shift including a work vehicle to and from site for rostered shifts.   

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• NSW Shotfiring ticket - advantageous
• Considerable mining experience in Drilling and Blasting.
• Supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor personnel and manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• A strong safety focus.

Key Responsibilities.

• Responsible for the safe and economic site execution of the project reporting to the Operations Manager.
• Liaise with client representatives on daily activities and inform the client of activities which may impact on mining operations.
• Provide key leadership, management, and direction to support new and existing site employees.
