The Role

Our project team is expanding! We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to be based onsite at our civil earthwork’s project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

FIFO out of Perth on a 2:1 roster – Permanent role.

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to offer proficient contract administration support for our Infrastructure construction operations.

Working closely alongside the Project Manager, your role will involve managing the entire contract administration process, including coordinating contract correspondence, administering cost controls, preparing comprehensive cost reports, handling invoice submissions and progress claims, and diligently following up on outstanding contract debtors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quantify, measure, and populate Bills of Quantities.
  • Support Estimating team in tender preparation and construction cost analysis.
  • Complete CER and follow up with client for contract.
  • Facilitate contract execution and submit to SRG Commercial.
  • Coordinate with SRG Commercial for Project Securities provision.
  • Complete JSR (Job Setup Request) and set up job folder.
  • Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
  • Organize and direct site labor and material deliveries.
  • Draft and interpret specifications, drawings, and plans.
  • Monitor design changes and negotiate variations.
  • Assist in establishing Project Budget, Cashflows, and Pre-plans.
  • Aid in Project Controls setup including Cost Tracker and Progress Reports.
  • Engage subcontractors and suppliers according to SRG processes.
  • Administer Subcontractor and Supplier Agreements.
  • Assist in risk valuation and management.
  • Help in valuation of variations and Monthly Internal Financial Reporting.
  • Address client queries and redirect to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare monthly cost vs revenue reports.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Operation Manager or Commercial Manager.
  • Assist Divisional Manager in monthly project forecasts.
  • Support Estimating Manager in tendering duties.
  • Prepare monthly invoicing report for Divisional Manager.
  • Administer Project Report Summary and coordinate Meeting minutes.
  • Proficient in estimating & programming tasks using CCS Candy software.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying or contract management
  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar role
  • Industry experience in mining/bulk earthworks/road infrastructure related projects
  • Demonstrated experience in contract and office administration
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Computer software skills (JobPac and/or JDE experience would be an advantage)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
