The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager (Condition Monitoring), your role as a Condition Monitoring Trainee will be a full-time position working across our Contract Sites in the Mackay region. Our clients are long-term ongoing contracts; they have a large variety of equipment on their sites.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll assist with carrying out and coordinating scheduled equipment ‘condition monitoring’ surveys using assessment techniques including inspection, vibration analysis, oil analysis and thermal imaging.

• Minimum 2-3 years’ exposure to vibration analysis preferred.
• Demonstrated diagnostic skills and reliability improvement ability.
• At least 3 years relevant industry experience with exposure to heavy industrial plant desirable.
• Practical mechanical experience and knowledge.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Self-motivated / results focused.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
