The Role

Seeking an experienced Project Controls Officer to join our team in our Subiaco officer on a part-time basis.

As a Project Controls Officer, you will play a critical role in effectively capturing, controlling, and reporting on project data for analysis.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive controls support to our Infrastructure Division, ensuring that project costs are accurately tracked and reported. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and managers.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input project-related data into our systems daily.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate daily reports to provide insights into project performance.
  • Continuously reconcile project costs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct thorough end-of-month reconciliation of project costs.
  • Collaborate with Project CAs/Managers to prepare comprehensive end-of-month cost reports.

Secondary Responsibilities (Project dependent):

  • Assist in coordinating personnel and plant mobilisations for projects.
  • Conduct occasional site visits as needed to support project startup and demobilisation efforts.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer software skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail and a commitment to data processing accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to a high-performance culture and a dedication to achieving results.
