The Role

Newly created role for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer in our Subiaco Head Office.

This role would suit someone who has strong communication and negotiation skills, that is confident speaking with internal and external clients.

We are looking an AR Officer with a great attitude that can demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.

Our office working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit checks & setting up new accounts
• Generating invoices and claims into system
• Monitoring AR inbox and communicating with customers
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Early stage management of outstanding debtors
• Liaising with operational staff in relation to accounts on hold
• Run end of month customer statements
• Assist with ad-hoc month end procedures / reporting  

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confident phone communication skills
• Data entry accuracy & attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft office is essential (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience in the construction or Mining Industry (Advantageous but not essential)
• Experience with Accounting Software(Jobpac, Pronto or MS Dynamics - Advantageous but not essential)
