The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our Thunderbox site at WA Goldfields. This position is a permanent full-time opportunity.

The successful applicant will have:

• Hold the appropriate Trade Certificate
• Hold a current driver’s licence
• A working knowledge of Sandvik and Epiroc equipment
• Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
• A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled drill servicing across Sandvik DI650i Leopard and DP1500i Pantera, and Epiroc D65 rigs
• Performing unscheduled repairs
• Maintaining and servicing light vehicles
• Technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel
• Training & support to other SRG employees
• Liaison with OEM’s & suppliers on technical issues

• Hourly rate depends on experience

• All sites include camp accommodation and messing
